The Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge hovers like an aesthetic piece of art over downtown Cape Girardeau - the perfect subject to photograph from various angles. I visited the bridge twice this week to snap some pictures - on a cool, partly cloudy morning and on a clear, sunny early evening with the moon in the waxing gibbous phase. I really like what I was able to capture on digital - having such a marvel as a subject made it easy.
A big bridge spanning over a large natural stream of water connecting southern Illinois to a beautiful, small river city.
