“I think it pisses God off if you walk by the color purple in a field somewhere and don't notice it,” wrote Alice Walker in her novel "The Color Purple".  

I think God being pissed off might be a little strong, but I understand the sentiment.  For me, nature is a reflection of God and he shares it with us so we can appreciate its beauty.  

 I wandered over to the Southeast Missouri State University to take pictures of the colorful autumn foliage that has embraced Cape these recent days, especially around the campus.  My visit to SEMO reminded me how beautiful the campus is with its rolling hills and scenic views.  God only gives us the autumn leaves for a short time - so pause for a moment and appreciate his handiwork.. don't piss him off.
