What makes a good river folk photograph? The person first and foremost. But it's also capturing a picture that has something more - the background surrounding the individual, the mood conveyed by the person, or maybe you just see the humanity in that nanosecond of their life. I probably took over 100 photographs of people down at the river over the last month, but selected the following 20 photos. They just seemed real.. the river folk.
