A sunny autumn day down by the Mississippi is perfect for capturing photos of the river - the clear sky creating a beautiful blue.
The barge was traveling fast on the high waters as it headed south toward the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge, creating waves and splashes of water on the shore. For a moment, I thought the boat might not make it under the bridge, but it did. Barely.
