My cousin shared the book This House, This Town with me and the first thing I noticed was the large red house on the cover. This house is right around the corner from where I live in downtown Cape - I started reading the book that night. Beautifully written by Robert Hamblin, it's a story not only about a couple's love affair with the "Harrison House" but also historic Cape Girardeau. If you are interested in learning about Cape, its history, and the love for a beautiful home and town, then pick up a copy, curl up and enjoy a wonderful love story.
